Although the Government announced in January that it would help each new employee with €200 – €230 euros per month in 2021, there is still nothing from the promised benefits. The Ministry of Economic Development has told CdM that the measure of support for new employment will be active and that the green light should be given by the Parliament at the next session. It is still unknown when that session will take place.
The package of measures to support the economy and citizens for the Q1 of 2021, which was adopted by the Government at the end of January, covers more than 100,000 people in Montenegro, i.e. every 1 in 5 citizens. One of the measures is the support for new employment, which implies certain benefits.
