A strategy dealing with the problems of autistic children, which will soon be found in a public debate, envisages that the Autism Centre is built next to the Childhood Diseases Institute of the Clinical Centre of Montenegro.
Early diagnosis and treatment will include a team of doctors, psychologists, psychiatrists and physiologists.
Director of the Ministry of Health’s department for quality inspection and improvement, Vesna Miranovic, says that the centre will definitely be built through the strategy. She explains that the ministry had a meeting with the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, Ministry of Justice, NGO sector, UNICEF, World Health Organisation, directors of the Clinical Centre and Health Care Centre Podgorica.
