The average price per square meter of a newly built apartment in Montenegro in the Q1 of 2023 was €1,341, in Podgorica it was €1,407, in the coastal region it was €1,392, in the central region it was €611, while in the northern region the average price per square meter of an apartment in new buildings amounted to €1,201, according to the MONSTAT Statistical Office.
The average price per square meter of an apartment in a new building depends to a significant extent on the share of apartments that belong to the category of joint housing construction. If the share of these apartments is higher, the average price of an apartment in a new building will be significantly lower, that is, if the share is smaller, the average price will be higher.
The average price per square meter of an apartment in new buildings in Montenegro in the category of commercial companies in the Q1 of 2023 was €1,389, while in the category of solidary housing construction it was €589.
