Average gross salary in June in Montenegro amounted to €787, while average salary without taxes and contributions amounted to €527. That means that average net salary in June this year has increased by 1,7%, MONSTAT reported.
Having regard to the fact that consumer prices in June increased by 0,1%, real net salaries have increased by 1,6%.
Average salaries without taxes and contributions have recorded increase in the following sectors: State administration and defense, Education, Construction, Art, entertainment recreation, Agriculture, forestry and fishery, Traffic and storage, Administrative and helping service activities, Expert, scientific and technical activities, Accommodation and food services, Retail and Wholesale trade, Real Estate business, and extraction of stone and ores.
Decline in the average salary without taxes and contributions compared with May was recorded in the following sectors and activities: other service activities, Financial activities and insurance activities, Electricity supply, Information and communication, Water supply, Waste management, Health and Social protection, Manufacturing industry,
