The former Vice-President of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), Svetozar Marović, will extend his stay in Belgrade. According to his lawyer, Zdravko Begović, his health is significantly declining.
“We’re in contact and he told me that he feels very bad. He receives therapies and therefore is tied to Belgrade. As soon as his health condition improves so that he can serve the prison sentence he’s been given, he will return to Montenegro”, said Begović.
He repeated what Marović said several times, that he had nowhere to go but to Montenegro.
“He really isn’t capable of serving the sentence and the medical documentation confirms it”, said Begović.
