Minister of labor and social care Zorica Kovacevic said today during the visit of these two towns that she is satisifed by the turnout of the people and the way the training is organized.
“We promised to provide trained people for Chinese company, more than 350. We are providing full support to people who applied for training and we are on a mission to do everything we can to provide a workforce of good quality and expertise for the beginning of works on the highway construction”, said Kovacevic.
“Chinese company will respect Montenegrin laws regarding employment, so this is a good chance for training for new professions for highschool and university students, but also those who need a couple of more years to reach retirement”, said Kovacevic.
Kovacevic was very satisfied by the big turnout of the candidates and reminded that their ministry provided additional 100.000 euros for expenses of training, transport reimbursements, daily incomes and food.
Only in Kolasin there were more than 400 applicants for various jobs although the Chinese company needs only 354 workers.
Advantage will be given to applicants from Kolasin, and besides them candidates from Mojkovac and Bijelo Polje are also being trained.
Director of National employment agency Vukica Jelic invited local construction companies to follow the example of Chinese CRBC.
“It is very important that local workforce will be hired in construction of the highway which will receive the best possible training. This example should be followed by our companies as well that will be hired on this but other projects as well, because this is a good way to provide means for existence for local workforce”, said Jelic.
Kovacevic and Jelic visited Factory of explosives in Berane yesterday, where 15 miners are being trained.
