The Europe Now Movement (PES) has proposed holding all upcoming local elections in Montenegro on a single day to refocus political attention on local, economic, and communal issues that directly affect citizens’ lives.

PES CEO Vlado Bojovic criticised the ongoing divisions fostered by political parties, particularly in towns like Budva, and highlighted the impact on young people, pushing them to leave the country due to a lack of opportunities. He called for a shift towards policies that encourage youth retention, development, and local prosperity.

Bojovic stressed that PES is committed to modern, dynamic local governance, aimed at improving living standards, attracting investment, and creating opportunities for young people.

He concluded by advocating for a united, forward-looking approach to local politics, focused on development rather than divisions.
