Thanks to the long-standing work of the representative of the Council for Cooperation with Montenegrin Emigrants, Esteban Micovic, the Montenegrin community in the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra and the Embassy of our country in Buenos Aires, the community representatives from all over Bolivia, Tupiza, Sukrea, La Paz, Kochabamba and other towns where the descendants of the emigrants from Montenegro live gathered for the first time.

“Over the past year, our community has made a list according to which about 1,500 to 2,000 descendants of emigrants from Montenegro live in Bolivia today,” the Montenegrin Bolivian community told CDM.

The meeting was attended by the ambassador of Montenegro in Buenos Aires, Gordan Stojovic, who had a presentation on networking of Montenegrin associations in Latin America and cooperation with the homeland.
