Brajovic’s wing has a proposal for unity: Krivokapic to rewind to original SDP values

The president of the SDP, Ranko Krivokapic, scheduled the session of the CC with two items on the agenda: election of the vice-presidents and members of the party’s Presidency.

The platform, to which the DN daily had access, is being submitted by two ministers, one of whom is the Deputy Prime Minister, current President of the SDP Council, two MPs, the president of the SDP Youth and 13 out of 22 presidents of SDP Municipal boards.

The platform has a preamble and 11 points, and the applicants are asking Krivokapic to return to the original principles of the party, stop the revanchism and to have views of party on all political and economic issues primarily established by the Presidency and the Main Committee.

The first point says that the SDP will return to its original program and the fundamental principles of a democratic, civil, multiethnic, Euro-Atlantic policy, for which until recently the party was known, that that instead of confusing, misleading and erratic policy, the party will lead a stable, transparent, recognizable, the original social democratic policy.

The platform is also seeking that, before the upcoming parliamentary elections, a decision is made on an independent campaign, committing the party to be clear and understandable to both members and the public, and the election program based on the principles inscribed in the program of the SDP. Proposers of the act also expect the SDP to use its next meeting of the CC to make a formal decision not to make post-election coalition with those who are not ready to fully respect all basic program guidelines for the party, or those who are against Montenegrin membership in EU and NATO.
