Two men, Stefan Belada and Andrija Ivanovic, were found shot dead in a vehicle near the village of Ugnji, close to Cetinje. Their bodies were discovered by police around 3:45 p.m. on a gravel road approximately 250 meters from the main Cetinje–Budva road. Both men were reportedly linked to the Skaljari criminal clan.
The Montenegrin Police Directorate stated that all available resources, including special units, have been mobilised to assist the investigation, which is being led by the state prosecutor in Podgorica. Authorities have blocked off the area, and the investigation is ongoing, with no further details on motive or circumstances at this time.
Belada had previously survived an attempted shooting earlier in September and had a criminal history, including a prison sentence for attempted murder and illegal weapons possession. Ivanovic was arrested in 2014 for throwing a hand grenade that damaged several vehicles.
