The government has approved application of the decisions of the Council of Ministers of the Energy Community in relation to implementing the Law on Integrated Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution, which allows issuing an integrated operating license to the Thermal Power Plant (TE) Pljevlja.
The government’s approval was one of the necessary conditions for issuing this license.
“The Environmental Protection Agency has provided all the necessary conditions for issuing an integrated operating licence to the Electric Power Company of Montenegro (EPCG), which regulates the operation of the TE in the next six years,” the statement said.
