Number of sunny days, climate and the ambiance give us hope that everybody will win from the construction of the new golf course in Luštica – residents of Tivat, tourism employees and the state. The development of this sport, in the essence of which is nature, peace and healthy lifestyle, enables Tivat to overcome seasonality, says president of the Golf club “Knjeginja Milica”, Mr Risto Lučić. According to him, Montenegro is an ideal destination for golf tourism.
He pointed out he was very proud of the fact that “Knjeginja Milica” and Tivat had brought golf back to the big door. So far, golf lovers and enthusiasts haven’t had a golf base in Montenegro.
“I firmly believe the state will start working more intensely on development of golf in Montenegro. Opening golf course will enable residents of Tivat and citizens of Montenegro to try new sport sphere in the best possible conditions”, Mr Lučić says.
On the old continent, golf tourism has over €50 billion market value.
