Customs Administration records growth in revenue collection

Customs Administration continued to record growth in the collection of revenues in November 2019.

“In the period from January 2019 to November 2019, a total of €750.666.797,95 has been collected. It was a €40 million growth in comparison to the same period last year. Recovery of funds amounted to €10.290.642,57, generating net payment in the amount of €740.376.155,38”, said the representatives of Customs Administration.

Structure of the collected revenues shows that income VAT collection amounts to €495.344.074,65, which is €24,4 million more. A total of €227.019.673,24 have been collected on the grounds of excise.

All categories of excise products have recorded an increase.

“The biggest positive derogation has been recorded in the collection on excise on tobacco (€5,5 million). Total excise collection is €1,4 million higher. Collection on the grounds of customs amounted to €26.145.7196,67, whereas collection of tax on coffee amounted to €2.077.137,47. Other revenues amounted to €80.195,92”, said the representatives of Customs Administration.
