Commenting on the situation in the state budget, public enterprises, possible borrowers and predictions suggesting that Montenegro’s going to face a Greece scenario, the Finance Minister, Aleksandar Damjanovic, says that a 350 million euro limit doesn’t mean we’re going to borrow the full sum.
“The debt threshold will be lower than the approved limit,” explains Mr Damjanovic. He states that it’s a serious challenge to prepare the next year’s budget.
According ti him, they’ve already talked to local banks.
“We communicated our needs and expectations, got certain inputs. I think that we’re on the right way to make a financial construction. In my opinion, it won’t be a problem to ensure money, as we have our, local banks and partner banks,” Minister Damjanovic said in a show ‘Drugacija radio veza’ (eng. Different Radio Station).
The increase in minimum salary has mildly affected the inflation rise, he added.
