The most effective way for the opposition to fight against DPS is boycotting general and all other elections until its demands are met. Acting as a team is crucial in the game against DPS. If it turns out that certain entities are to stay in Parliament permanently, or that they will often attend plenary sessions, then we will swiftly respond to it in accordance with our interests, said Goran Danilovic, the leader of the United Montenegro UCG) in an interview with Pobjeda.
According to him, the unity of the opposition implies sacrificing a part of one’s own positions for the public sake.
According to him, it seems that there is no unity.
“A part of the opposition organises meetings and selectively invites opposition representatives to them dividing them into civic and non-civic. The Democratic Front’s response seems to be an independent decision to return to Parliament and attend PM question time. UCG is probably expected to voluntarily disappear in this conflict, because whatever we decide we will allegedly chose a side. Like others, we have the right to our own position,” said Danilovic.
In the event that the government does not meet the opposition requirements, UCG suggests that all opposition MPs resign and boycotting all elections.
According to him, it is not normal to pressure the government and DPS by unconditionally participating in local elections and unconditionally preparing for the presidential elections, while demanding fair conditions for parliamentary elections!
