Montenegro and Lithuania, as well as other Baltic states, have perfect mutual understanding regarding issue of international and regional importance, which arises from similarity they share, said Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Srđan Darmanović, who received Ambassador of Lithuania to Montenegro, Ms Jurate Raguckiene.
Minister Darmanović emphasized the help Lithuania constantly offers to Montenegro on its path to the EU. He said that strong alliance and friendship between the two countries was based on the decision to build their future in the community of western democracies.
Ambassador Raguckiene thanked Mr Darmanović for his arm welcome and said that she would commit to deepening cooperation between the countries and encouraging dynamic political dialogue.
She agreed with Minister Darmanović that there’s potential for further economic cooperation and said that Lithuania had interest in helping Montenegro on its way to the EU through joint projects.
