The People’s Movement leader and the candidate for the mayor of Nikšić Miodrag Daka Davidović accused the president of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić of having ordered the assassination of him and the administrator of the Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral and Bishop of Budimlje and Nikšić Joanikije.
According to Mr Davidović, on the same night when the assassination was attempted, he said that he wasn’t interested in perpetrators but in instructing parties.
Mr Davidović was wounded on 10 December 2019 in Belgrade, while he was sitting in the Crown Plaza hotel with Joanikije.
