Basic State Prosecution in Podgorica submitted a conviction suggestion to the Basic Court, aimed against DF MPs Marina Jocic, Branko Radulovic, Milan Knezevic and Milutin Djukanovic, due to an incident that occurred in the hall of the Parliament in February this year.
They’ve been charged with criminal act violent behavior, that entails a punishment of 6 months to 5 years in prison.
The incident occurred in the Parliament on February 15th this year, after DF MPs Andrija Mandic and Milan Knezevic had their immunity revoked due to suspicions they were involved in the attempted state coup.
Other DF MPs entered the Parliament, attacked and offended DPS MPs. They were stopped by the security. Their colleagues from DPS who were attacked, Marta Scepanovic, Ljuidj Skrelja, Miodrag Vukovic and Miodrag Bobo Radunovic submitted reports.
The evidence gathered in the investigation points to a criminal act from article 399 from the Criminal Code of Montenegro.
“They acted as a group, offended and misbehaved towards MPs, they broke the public peace and order and brought damage to the Parliament”, the Prosecution office stated.
