The President of Montenegro, Milo Djukanovic, has congratulated Emanuel Macron on the occasion of his re-election to the position of President of France, and wished him the best for the successful performance of this responsible duty.
“The election of French citizens opens up a new perspective for France and represents an encouragement for the strong and united Europe we want and need today more than ever. I believe that at the head of France, which is one of the main pillars of the European and Euro-Atlantic structure, you will justify the trust and fulfill the expectations of the French and Europeans”, President Djukanovic has stated.
He has added that Macron’s election is good news for the countries of the Western Balkans and the European Union’s enlargement policy.
