However, in an interview with DN daily, Vojvodić did not wish to confirm this information, stating that it was his “private matter.”
President of the RTCG Council, Ivan Mitrovic, yesterday officially signed the decision to open the call for the appointment of the Director General of RTCG.
Commenting on his previous work, Vojvodic pointed out that during his mandate a lot has been done, “even more than he expected”.
“There are always things to improve. You need to constantly work on improving the work of the public service, it is a constant. We did a lot of good things and it is evident from the ratings and other parameters. National television has been stabilized. Next year, the General Assembly of public service will be organized, and this is a major media event in the history of Montenegro. We’re finishing the digitalization project as well. All strategic things were done before the deadlines”, said Vojvodic.
Even so, he says he would correct “a million things”, and that special attention should be paid to strengthening the professionalism and responsibility of journalists.
In the future, he says, no matter who is the director of RTCG, this institutions should work on digitalization because this is a historic project for Montenegro.
“The review project has been completed. We established a commission and are awaiting for the tender. It’s a historical matter for the country. Holding the General Assembly of public service is also a great recognition of our own public service. No one in the region managed to do so. In addition, changes in the systematization will happen in the next three, four months for sure. This implies a new way of organizing our media institution”, he added.
