The Democratic Party of Socialists, DPS, is likely to run in the Nikšić elections in the coalition with the Social Democrats, SD, and the Liberal Party, LPCG, whereas the leader of the list will be Ms Sanja Damjanović, the Vice-President of the DPS and former Science Minister. The DPS confirmed this information for Dan daily.
Yesterday, Ms Damjanović didn’t want to answer Dan’s question whether she is going to be the leader of the list.
Meanwhile, Social Democrats confirmed that the coalition has almost been agreed.
President of the DPS Board in Nikšić, Mr Zoran Vukićević, has told MINA news agency that they expect to run in the elections along with the SD, and depending on the outcome of talks in the next few days, they’ll see who’ll join them.
According to him, their goal is to preserve values they have been fighting for over previous years.
