Today, the Presidency and Executive Board of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) is to choose a candidate for the presidential elections scheduled for 19 March.
The largest number of municipal committees proposed party leader and current president Milo Djukanovic as a candidate.
The deadline for submission of candidacies is 26 February. Presidential candidates need 8,101 signatures of support.
The State Election Commission has so far confirmed the candidacies of the leader of the New Serbian Democracy Andrija Mandic and the MP of the Social Democratic Party Draginja Vuksanovic Stankovic.
