More than €24,000 for MPs boycotting Parliament

Montenegrin MPs received €133,000 for net salaries for December. Out of the sum, 18 opposition MPs who continue to boycott the work of Parliament received €24,103, according to data published on Parliament’s website.

Democratic Front (DF) and MPs Aleksandar Damjanovic and Goran Danilovic returned to Parliament, whereas MPs of Social Democratic Party (SDP), URA Civic Movement, Demos and the Democrats (DCG) continued boycotting. December’s earnings for some MPs were higher than in November.

DPS MP Marija Catovic earned the highest monthly salary for December amounting to €2,386. Her November salary was €1,762. The Parliament speaker Ivan Brajovic earned €2,287.

He is followed by DPS MP Branko Cavor (€2,212) and Miodrag Vukovic (DPS – €2,172). When it comes to opposition party leaders, their salaries in December were as follows: Branko Radulovic (DF/PzP – €1,811), Miodrag Lekic (Demos – €1,732), Nebojsa Medojevic (DF/PzP – €1,601), Andrija Mandic (DF/NOVA €1,588), Milan Knezevic (DF/DNP – €1.433), Ranko Krivokapic (SDP – €1,680), Dritan Abazovic (URA – €1,394).
