The Health Insurance Fund (FZO) allocated €7.1m for medical treatments outside Montenegro in the first ten months last year, said FZO director Sead Cirgic.
He said that there was an increase in the number of people who were sent to out-of-state treatment compared to last year. Therefore there was the increase in funds for the treatment of Montenegrin citizens abroad.
“For treatments in Serbia €4.3m was allocated, and €2.8m in other countries,” Cirgic told MINA news agency.
