A father took his three children to a tour through the Nevidio canyon with no guide

Thanks to an experienced guide from Niksic and three young men from Savnik, a story on a tourist from the Netherlands, who took his three small children to a tour through the Nevidio canyon has had a happy ending, Pobjeda writes.

A guide from Niksic went through the Nevidio with a group of tourists at 4pm when he found the Dutch tourist and his children in the middle of the canyon.  The youngest child was six and was already frozen, because the temperature in the Komarnica river canyon was only a few degrees above zero. The guide came out of the canyon and asked the three young men from Savnik who know the Nevidio very well to help. The four of them then practically ran through the canyon to reach the place where they left the Dutch tourists and evacuated them in about 25 minutes.

The rescuers were not willing to talk about the operation.

The public learned about this event when one of the young men criticised the parent on the social media because he all but took his three children to death, warning other people against touring through the canyon without a guide.
