Forca has decided to leave coalition in Ulcinj. President of local assembly resigns

Čapuni

President of the Ulcinj Local Assembly, Mr Ilija Čapuni, stated today that he was going to resign and that his party, Forca, would leave the coalition with the Democratic Party of Socialists, DPS.

“With this experience, energy, information and knowledge about political sediment in Montenegro, we will continue to work even stronger, with a new team, new approach and new talks for the benefit of Ulcinj residents,” Mr Čapuni noted.

He also added that the DPS called on Forca to have talks already tonight, not about the afore-mentioned issues but regarding a candidate for the president of the Municipality of Ulcinj.

Three years ago, Forca signed the agreement on cooperation with the DPS, which, at the time, used to have around 50 votes more but the same number of councilors. However, the DPS had entered into agreement on broad support with the Democratic Party, DP, Democratic Union of Albanians, DUA and Social Democrats, SD.
