Representatives of the parties which made up the parliamentary majority following the elections on 30 August will meet today at 11 am upon the invitation of one of the leaders of the Democratic Front, DF, Andrija Mandic, and ahead of the extraordinary parliamentary session when MPs are supposed to vote on dismissal of the Parliament Speaker, Danijela Djurovic.
“Evil tongues” say that not all members of the DF agree over Ms Djurovic’s dismissal.
Allegedly, Mr Mandic is ready to withdraw the initiative if the outcome of negotiations resonates with him, while one of the leaders of that bloc, Milan Knezevic, strongly opposes it, as he’s angry with her for convening the session thus enabling Zeta to become the municipality.
As for today’s meeting, several days ago, Mr Mandic stated that an interim cabinet should be set up in order to prepare the elections. He stated that the DF was ready to take responsibility for Montenegro and comply with all international obligations.
