GDP growth 3.2%

Montenegro’s gross domestic product in the first quarter of 2017 amounted to €748m and it is by 3.2% higher than in the same period last year, according to the Monstat statistics agency.

The GDP nominal growth rate in the first quarter was 5.9%.

“In the same period last year, GDP amounted to €706m,” the statement says.

Monstat said that GDP in the first quarter at current prices amounted to €747.54m and at the constant prices €728.21m.

Growth in the European Union in this period was 2.4%, in Croatia 2.5%, and in Serbia 1.2%.
