The Union of Free Trade Unions of Montenegro (USSC) has expected the least from this Government to open space for employers to re-problematize the abolition of non-working Sundays. This was said to Dnevne Novine by the general secretary of that workers’ organization, Srdja Kekovic, after the government of Zdravko Krivokapic officially rejected their initiative by which they asked the executive power to reject all proposals concerning the abolition of non-working Sundays. This government’s move encourages employers to continue with their campaign to abolish non-working Sundays, but still hopes that the majority in society has understood its importance, and that the initiative of employers, which they do not give up, will not pass, Dnevne Novine reports.
