According to data that Dnevne Novine daily had the insight into, the Government of Montenegro plans to allocate more than 2 million euro from the Capital Budget in order to buy the former complex ‘Gornji Obod’.
Namely, the Public Works Administration submitted the Ministry of Finance the official Information on unspent funds from the Capital Budget for this year, as well the proposal for transferring those same funds to other projects. The Government at its latest session adopted this document saying that the allocated but unspent funds within 9 programs would amount to 6.27 million euro.
It was also mentioned that nearly 1.14 million euro initially planned for the reconstruction of sports facilities, the reconstruction of the Children’s Hospital, streets and water supply network, the construction of a stadium with the athletic track, as well as the construction and equipping the Culture Centre in Cetinje has been unspent. As the works haven’t started yet, this money will be added to 1 million euro already allocated for the purchase of the former complex ‘Gornji Obod’.
