The Embassy of Montenegro at the Sovereign Order of the Knights of Malta (SVMR) has been informed that Ambassador Miodrag Vlahović will be awarded the Maltese Order of the Grand Maltese Cross of Merit (Gran Croce al Merito Melitense), Pobjeda reports.
This will be the 4th medal awarded to Mr Vlahović in the last 3 years.
At the time of the restoration of independence, he was the holder of a significant international recognition – the Memorial Ramon Trias Fargas medal. It was awarded to him in Barcelona in early 2018, as a “prominent diplomat and liberal politician”.
The ceremony of handing over the Order will be held, as announced, on 17 February, at the SVMR headquarters in Rome.
