Escalation of the coronavirus epidemic, enormous number of the infected, frightening number of deaths from Covid-19, delayed vaccination, lack of medical supplies and medicines, queues of patients in front of the clinics of the KCCG Polyclinic, security fights with patients in which the police had to intervene, return of long waiting lists for specialist examinations and diagnostics, while there are no appointments for some of them, is only a part of the effects of the almost eight-month work of Health Minister – the doctor of the Clinical Center of Montenegro Jelena Borovinic Bojovic, Pobjeda reports.

The coronavirus epidemic in Montenegro is flaring up again, and several health system experts with whom Pobjeda spoke warn that our medical institutions, which will have to return to the rigorous “Covid regime”, will not be able to respond to patients’ needs with such long waiting lists.
