According to the investigators, the dug tunnel between a private apartment in a residential building in Njegoseva Street and the depot in the Podgorica High Court could have been used for several purposes: the theft of evidence, for the escape of one of the prisoners, or for murder. The apartment from where it was dug to the High Court building was rented for two months before the tunnel was discovered, and police believe the original owner is not connected to the case. More information should be known today or tomorrow, as outgoing Interior Minister Filip Adzic said yesterday.

The President of the High Court, Boris Savic, announced at yesterday’s press conference that the dug tunnel was discovered under the Court building. According to his claims, “almost nothing is missing” from the High Court depot.
The head of the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica, Dusko Milanovic, confirmed for CdM that a case had been opened regarding the High Court depot.
The session of the Bureau for Operational Communication of the Intelligence Security Sector is to be held today.
The session is scheduled for 1:30 p.m., and the focus will be on the case of breaking into the depot of the Podgorica High Court.
