If the High State Prosecutor’s Office assesses that there’s a need for bringing charges regarding the statements of Professor Milan Popovic, the public will be timely informed. This is what they said in a response to the CdM’s question whether this prosecutor’s office was going to open up a criminal case against Mr Popovic for his recent statement that a war would break out in Montenegro if the DPS comes back in power.
Two nights ago, speaking in a TV show aired on Vijesti, Mr Popovic, among other things, told the return of the DPS “would mean the increased probability of large-scale internal violence, an increased aggressiveness of the mafia, an increased probability of a civil war in Montenegro, especially when we see the situation in Gaza and Ukraine”.
Mr Popovic is the advisor of the Deputy Prime Minister for the Political System, Justice and Anti-Corruption, Momo Koprivica.
