The Minister of Capital Investments, Ervin Ibrahimovic, has warned the CEDIS Executive Director, Vladimir Cadjenovic, that he endangreed business operations of this company by giving up on the Request for determining the regulatory allowed income. The letter suggests that CEDIS suffered a €1.2 million loss in the first 15 days of January 2023, whereas it could exceed €21 million at this year’s level.
“It’s clear that by giving up on the request for determination of the regulatory permitted income and prices sent to the Energy Agency in November 2022, you inflicted a direct damage to CEDIS, threatening its further operations and liquidity,” says the letter sent by the Minister of Capital Investments, Ervin Ibrahimovic, to Vladimir Cadjenovic.
On 5 January 2023, Mr Cadjenovic sent a letter, that is, a request for urgent adoption of the Decision on the introduction of measures for the mandatory supply of electricity to cover losses to the Network Operator of the distribution system at a specially determined price.
However, Minister Ibrahimovic warned Mr Cadjenovic about the activities he carried out in the previous period, which led to, as the minister claims, additional threats to CEDIS’ business operations, as well as about possible consequences to affect the work of other energy entities in the Montenegrin system.
