Inspectors, who will determine the working conditions at the KAP aluminum plant, are coming to that factory on Monday, Dnevne Novine was told by the Inspection Directorate.
KAP owner Veselin Pejović asked for the labor inspection after the employees’ complaints that the conditions at the factory were equal to hell and unbearably bad.
“The labor inspection will determine the situation in KAP next week and make information about it”, says the Directorate.
At the beginning of March, at the session of the parliamentary commission for monitoring and control of the privatization procedure, at which the position of KAP employees was discussed, Mr Pejović threatened to lay off 600 workers. He was outraged by the new Government’s criticism that Uniprom, which manages KAP, was a tycoon company.
