Last year was very important for Lustica Bay project, primarily because a large number of targets were achieved. Lustica Development company pointed out arrival of first apartment owners in early summer.
“This resulted in spending the time before the holidays in working atmosphere and many parts of the projects ‘revived’. As always in Lustica Bay, construction works at the site are being performed rapidly. Works on marina are ongoing and works on F buildings have begun. In short, we begin new year being aware that we are working at full pelt in Lusica Bay and that 2016 will be a year of new results and even more achieved goals,” the company stated.
The works on a new phase of housing construction, F buildings, began in October last year. As Lustica Development stated, design works for G buildings are also underway and the construction works on this segment will begin in the first half of the year.
“We have to mention the fact that construction of the access road leading to villas in the marina will also start soon. Great progress has also been made in this part of the project, particularly because the marina is to become a centre of Lustica Bay community soon,” the company stated.
Structural works on the marina are being continued and it is expected that the preparatory works on both breakwaters will be ended in the first half of 2016, as well as the construction of a wall along the jetty and covering the causeway.
“Efforts are now focused on the infrastructure of the marina, finishing and pontoons, which will ultimately allow us anchoring yachts and ships in Lustica Bay,” it was said in the company’s statement.
The company said that there was a step forward in the plans for the island Mamula, since the Parliament adopted a decision on long-term lease of the land to Orascom.
“Development and renovation of Mamula, a fascinating, historic fortress in the Adriatic Sea, at the entrance to the Bay of Kotor, will match the local architecture and fully preserve the historical value of the island. This project will be a great addition to Lustica Bay’s offer, and most importantly, to its residents”, Lustica Development stated.
