Leaders of the Democratic Front, DF, Mr Andrija Mandić and Mr Milan Knežević, met today with the leader of the bloc Black on White and the civic URA movement, Mr Dritan Abazović, several sources close to CdM have confirmed.
CdM has learnt that they were trying to negotiate on staff issues in the future government, but also discussed the Freedom of Religion Law, following the recent statement of an URA official that they [URA] wouldn’t vote for its withdrawal.
Our sources claim that nothing specific has been agreed concerning the major issues, but they will meet again in order to try to reach the agreement.
This was, according to CdM sources, the first attempt to try to bridge differences and calm tensions after Mr Abazović’s statements that the security sector could not be given to “frivolous” people and the DF statements following URA’s official announcement that they would not back the abolition of the religion law.
