The Atlas Media Group will soon establish A1 television station, writes Dan.
“Our goal is for Montenegro to have a TV station that will not be stereotypical and in which all relevant social actors will have the opportunity to present their views on Montenegrin reality. We do not intend to flirt with anyone or to judge who is right. We will leave this to our viewers. We want present full information and all sides to our viewers,” stated Atlas Media Group, owned by Dusko Knezevic.
By the decision of the Agency for Electronic Media, Atlas Media Group was granted broadcasting rights on 28 December 2016.
At the beginning of 2017, bankruptcy proceedings were introduced in Atlas TV. The TV station’s debt to creditors amounted to €3m. Out of the sum, 36 employees claim €800,000.
