The Kolasin Ski Center has not sold a single pass this season. In Kolasin, this winter, the slopes have been without snow, and there have been no ski days at all. The people of Kolasin say that they do not remember such a bad tourist season having happened in the last 30 years, RTCG reports.
The representatives of the Ski Center, as well as the owners of private accommodation, expect the state to finish the work they started and to prepare the system for artificial snow for the next season.
The problem is not only for ski resorts, but also for tourism workers who suffer immeasurable losses.
Kolasin Ski Center director Bojan Medenica says that this season should be an alarm.
“Let’s not get into situations like this in the future. Snow is irreplaceable. Plans B are useless when there are no guests”, says Medenica.
