For three girls from Podgorica, trip to Barcelona resulted in cancellation of the return flight, paying taxi from Dubrovnik and self-isolation fir a period of 14 days.

Since they stayed in the region with local transmission of the coronavirus, they were obliged to self-isolate in an apartment. If they went home, they could endanger their families.
“From 12 March, this is how we live. It is impossible to find masks”, starts the story one of the girls.
The three friends couldn’t even imagine that their trip to Spain would finish like this. Due to the coronavirus situation, their flight was cancelled and they had to land in Dubrovnik.

“When we arrived on Debeli brijeg border crossing, we had to wait for the Sanitary inspection. In the evening, we got written orders, went to Podgorica and started self-isolation in an apartment”, adds the girl.
Self-isolation implies regular check of body temperature and maintaining contact with the epidemiologists.

“It happens often that we can’t reach them. The line is busy, and that’s expected. They ask as how we feel, if we have any symptoms and if we notice any changes to call them immediately”, the girl says.

Staying isolated like that is pretty tough. They can only go to terrace. Sister of one of those girls brings them food and other stuff they need and leave them in front of the door. If she needs to enter the apartment, she must have gloves and a face mask.
“We’ve been told that competent authorities will check regularly if we abide by regulations. I think many people don’t do that, and that’s very serious problem”, she adds.
She says that the air carrier they travelled with reimbursed their return ticket. However, €220 for taxi ride from Dubrovnik was terrible price to pay.
“We’ll remember Barcelona very well”, says the girl smiling.
Self-isolation is not that bad
For a young man from Danilovgrad, who came back from Slovenia on 9 March, self-isolation is not that bad. His case is not so serious, because in Slovenia, the virus started spreading right after he came to Montenegro.

As the Institute for Public Health has outlined new guidelines on how to behave after the return from abroad, this young man decided it would be better if he stayed home.
He pointed out that he checked his body temperature regularly and that he had been told to drink liquids.
“I don’t contact with my family and friends”, concludes the young man.
