Ahead of the Berane and Ulcinj local elections, which are to be held on Sunday, the period of election silence starts as of midnight.
Out of eight electoral rolls in Berane, two will be the coalitions. The DPS’ electoral roll called ‘Yes, for Berane and Montenegro’, including their coalition partners SD, BS and LP, is led by the President of the DPS Municipal Board, Lidija Kljajic. The Democrats’ candidate standing for the elections in this town is Damjan Culafic, while Vuko Todorovic is the NSD, DNP, PzP and Radnicka Party’s (Eng. Workers” Party) candidate.
As for Ulcinj, there will be five electoral rolls, whereas 13.753 residents are entitled to vote. The Ulcinj municipal assembly has 33 councilor posts and residents are going to cast a ballot at 38 polling stations.
