Record sick leave in Montenegro lasted more than 6 years, according to the records of the Health Insurance Fund. What is more alarming than this data is that there are those who are just about to break that record.
“Currently we have sick leaves of 54 months and 58 months, which means that it has been four and a half years that patients have been sick continuously”, Vukosava Pejovic from the Health Insurance Fund has told TVCG.
The Fund also says that there are suspicions of possible abuse of sick leaves.
