Mandic and Radunovic on a yacht

Montenegrin oppositionists escaped Podgorica’s heat and enjoyed “on the foam of the sea” on Wednesday.

And while their colleagues discussed issues important to Montenegrin citizens in the Parliament, opposition leaders Andrija Mandic and Slaven Radunovic took a rest from Parliament boycott on a yacht under the Montenegrin flag.

As a reminder, opposition MPs receive their salaries despite the boycott. Thus, an opposition MP gets nearly €1,500 of taxpayers’ money every month for almost nothing.

DF MPs, who boycotted the work of the Parliament last year, received €106,962 in total for five months.

Among DF MPs, the deputy parliament speaker Branko Radulovic had the highest salary – €1,397.32 euros. He was followed by Predrag Bulatovic (€1,331.66), Ljiljana Djuraskovic (€1,277.92), Emilo Labudovic (€1,251.97), Slaven Radunovic (€1,244), Nebojsa Medojevic (€1.236,03), Andrija Mandic (€1.228,06), Branka Bosnjak (€1.220,09), Milutin Djukanovic (€1.214,16), Janko Vucinic (€1.198,22), Veljko Vasiljevic (€1.182,28), Koca Pavlovic (€1.144,38), Milan Knezevic (€1.136, 41), Vladislav Bojovic (€1,110.55) and Strahinja Bulajic (€416.93).

In addition to these salaries, MPs receive remunerations for participating in parliamentary committees, ie as much as €21,000 for a month spent away from Parliament.

If we compare the above salaries with hundreds of million of euros stolen by DPS elite during a period of more than 25 years, only than we could have a full picture
