Mental arithmetic school opens in Podgorica

The global trend in the application of advanced mental development programs at an early age has emerged in Montenegro as well. Thus the first school of mental arithmetic Malac Genijalac (A Litle Genius) has recently been opened in Podgorica. It is an international school for the development of mental abilities for children aged 4 to 12, Dnevne Novine writes.

The manager and coordinator of the Malac Genijalac school, Jelena Lekic, told Dnevne Novine that the school follows the prestigious Japanese program HIKARI, which means “light” in Japanese and symbolises the awakening and development of intellectual potentials.

Although the lectures have officially began on 23 September this year, Lekic claims that children have already shown remarkable results in learning according to this advanced method.
