Milic in custody due to child pornography

Investigation judge of the Basic Court in Podgorica Miladin Pejovic ordered that Vijesti journalist Rajko Milic (40) from Niksic should be remanded in prison for 30 days, Dnevne Novine newspaper reports. Police officers found 82 videos of child pornography in his laptop.

Milic was earlier questioned by prosecutor Ivan Medojevic. According to unofficial information, he admitted downloading the controversial videos from the Internet.

DN also reports that in early September last year Montenegrin police received information from Europol that someone from Montenegro persistently downloads content from the monitored web sites engaged in child pornography distribution. Precisely thanks to this tip, Montenegrin police started monitoring the IP address used by Milic.

He is suspected of downloading foreign child pornography videos to a personal computer from September 2016 to March 2017.

Within the Observer police operation, he was arrested at his home on Tuesday on suspicion of having committed the crime of child pornography.
