“Because of what happened in the past, we will insist on taking positions regarding the DF’s initiative by all those invited to boycott the Parliament. Until getting a clear response of the invited political entities and individuals, as well as possible meeting of the Main Board of the SNP, I – as the party president and an MP – do not intend to participate in the work of the Parliament,” he said.
He pointed out that the SNP had never seized MP mandates.
Mr Milic reminded that the SNP supported the protests, and that they were committed to achieving declared goals – fall of the current government of Montenegro and conducting the first fair, free and democratic elections.
“As means for achieving these goals, the Democratic Front proposed boycott of the Parliament. The SNP is a partner for realistic political action. As a serious and responsible political entity, the SNP decided on participation in the protests at a meeting of the party Main Board, the body that can decide on the possible boycott of the Parliament too,” Mr Milic concluded.
