Milka Ljumovic and Bose Tatar acquitted of charges

Ljumović i Tatar

The Appellate Court has upheld the acquittal against six former CKB managers, charged with the indictment issued by the Special Prosecutor’s Office (SDT) for having abused their official position in case of granting six loans, Pobjeda reports.

After having conducted the appeals procedure, the High Court’s judgment was confirmed. According to it, the accused Milka Ljumovic, Bose Tatar, Dubravka Pavicevic, Jelica Petricevic, Velisa Radunovic and Gorica Vujisic are acquitted of having committed six criminal offenses of abuse of power in the economy, says the Appellate Court.

The High Court judge Ana Vukovic issued first instance judgement on 5 August 2016.

Explaining her decision, judge Vukovic stated that during the trial it was proved that there had been omissions in granting the loan, but that the SDT did not prove that the accused had had an agreement to obtain the illegal gain to their clients.
