Mrs Vera Milosavljević-Jocić, wife of Mr Sreten Jocić, fiercely denied in a statement for Pobjeda the repeated story of Nacional.

Croatian weekly has published story about the alleged interference of Mr Milo Đukanović into the murder of the owner of that magazine, Ivo Pukanić, claiming that they have the recording of the telephone conversation in which Sreten Jocić, known as Joca Amsterdam, allegedly talked about the role of Montenegrin president in the murder that took place in Zagreb, on 23 October of 2008.

“It is ridiculous to comment on this. Can you imagine? A man has been in jail for 12 years and he comes up with the idea about how to get out – by accusing Milo Đukanović, although he didn’t want to accuse him 12 years ago. That’s arrant nonsense”, Mr Jocić’s wife said.

She reminds that, in 2009, her husband was offered to accuse Milo Đukanović for that murder.

“And he refused. My husband talked about that in court. We will sue Nacional for these lies”, she said.
