Milosevic for CdM: DPS will win in Berane, as well as in Ulcinj and Podgorica

The Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) continues to win. We will be in power in Berane, Ulcinj and Podgorica, political director of the party Tarzan Milosevic told CdM.

Local elections in Berane and Ulcinj will be held on 4 February. The Zdravo Berane coalition (Democratic Front – DF and Socialist People’s Party – SNP) is in power in Berane. Milosevic says that this will change after the election and that DPS with the coalition partners (Bosniak Party – BS and the Social Democrats – SD) will topple the current government and take over governing the city.

“It is clear that citizens will support us in the elections. DPS will have absolute power in Berane with the BS and SD. Not only will we take power, but also the responsibility for further development of Berane,” Milosevic told CdM.

He is convinced that his party will be the strongest after the election in Ulcinj.

“I think this is an opportunity to take responsibility for the city as the strongest party in Ulcinj and that someone from DPS will finally be the mayor in the municipality. It is time for Ulcinj to move towards faster economic development and faster valorisation of its potential,” said Milosevic.

Local elections in Podgorica will be held in the spring. Milosevic does not have a dilemma here either. He is convinced that DPS with coalition partners from the state level will win absolute power and will continue to lead the city in the next term.

“I strongly believe that DPS and its coalition partners – SD, BS and Albanian parties, have the capacity to preserve power in the City of Podgorica. Together with them I believe that we will have an absolute majority in Podgorica’s city council and continue to develop Podgorica for the benefit of its citizens,” concluded Milosevic.
